If you think you may have a leak in you pool there is a simple test that will  help you out. We call it the "bucket test" Here's what you do:

#1 take a bucket and fill it up with water and mark where the water level is. It should be 3\4 full

#2 mark the water level in the pool, the best place is on the skimmer faceplate.

#3 leave  the bucket by the pool for 24 hours. Putting it  some place were it wont get spilled or were animals can drink it.

#4  Look at the bucket in the morning and see if the water level has dropped, stayed the same or risen.. Check  the pool level to see if it has dropped, stayed the same or risen.  Compare the results to this:

A. If the bucket and pool have the same amount of loss or no loss then there is no leak.

B. If the pool level is lower than the marked level and the bucket has stayed the same then you have a leak in your pool. measure that level and that will tell you how much you are losing a day.

C. If its rains, they should both raise equally.

D. If the both evaporate, the  levels should both go down equally.

Note: You can loose as much as an inch a day due to evaporation.

If you find that letter B is the case. Please call our service department. Give the results about the bucket test to us and we will be glad to schedule a service call for you.
